Nathan's great friend and fraternity brother from Georgia Tech, Shawn Allen, passed away last Wednesday. Today was his funeral. Shawn was in our wedding. Nathan was in his wedding. He and Laura have been good friends to me - and of course to Nathan. He had been struggling with a brain tumor for the past 4 years. He went into remission a couple of years ago, but it came back about 1 year ago. He is with God now and no longer suffering. It was very sad to see someone so young and smart and fun loving and kind and wonderful go. It's hard to understand why someone who was such a contributor to this world have to leave so soon. Only God knows - and He knows best. One of the great things about being back in Atlanta was being able to see Shawn a lot more frequently over the past 8 months.One of Shawn's wishes was to have the Ramblin' Reck car at his funeral. We were able to help make that happen for him and for Laura. Here is a picture of the Reck in front of the funeral home. It was a beautiful day for such a sad occasion. We LOVE you and will MISS you Shawn!

How Cool....I know it meant a lot to his family to see the Wreck there as he wished.
