While in Galax, we stayed at my friend Tess and Kenneth's house. Their son Houston is an AWESOME banjo player. He plays in a bluegrass band called Broken Wire. Here is a link to their My Space page http://www.myspace.com/brokenwireband. He serenaded Sofia while we were there. He's a great kid. Only 16, but very mature and smart and witty. I really like him as a person!

Their daughter Hayden is a really great basketball player! She's 13 and a really great girl too. I hope Sofia turns out as well as she did. Here is a picture of Hayden and her basketball team. She's the one kneeling right above the basketball.
