The Thomas' visit: The Varsity & a Braves game

Laura, Mark, and Mark Jr. Thomas came to visit us over Memorial Day weekend. The arrived Saturday afternoon (towards the end of our bike ride) and stayed through Monday afternoon.

On Sunday we went to The Varsity for some good ol' greasy food before we headed to a Braves game. We all went to the game: Mark, Laura, Mark Jr., Leanne, Mike, Kim (Leanne's sister), Jared (her husband), Marshall and McKinley (their kids), Doug, Nathan, Sofia and I. Nathan gets 50% off certain tickets at Braves game, so we got a good deal! The seats were PERFECT too. It was a pretty warm day and our seats were in the middle section in the shade! NICE!!!! The Braves lost to the Arizona Diamondbacks, but it was still a good time. On the left are Marshall, McKinley and Sofia at The Varsity. On the right is Mark Jr.

The coolest thing was that on Sundays, kids get to run the bases on Braves field. This is a picture of Uncle Doug and Sofia on the field. Also, here is a video of Leanne's niece and nephew running the bases. And a video of Sofia and Leanne NOT getting to run the bases. Kids have to be able to run by themselves and adults are not allowed! Sorry Aunt Leanne!!!
