We had corned beef, cabbage, mashed potatoes, cooked carrots and a traditional Irish soda bread (it looks like a fancy artisan bread). It was DELICIOUS!!! Carolyn is a really good cook. She's actually teaching me how to be a better cook. She taught me how to cut up a whole chicken a couple of weeks ago. FUN!!! Now I can buy the whole chickens at Costco because they are a lot cheaper than buying the chicken already cut up and you get the dark meat (which I love).
Sofia even got in on eating the Irish meal. She ate some of the carrots and mashed potatoes! YUMMY! She's getting to be a regular at eating from our plates now. She likes most things we give her these days.
Here is a picture of Sofia playing with Carolyn.
