Christmas Eve - Wii

On Christmas Eve, Ana and Jose Eduardo fixed a delicious dinner - we ate pernil, arros con gandules and pasteles - all very traditional puertorican Christmas dishes. Aidita also made majarete and polvorones for desert and there was also coquito to drink (puertorican eggnog type drink with no eggs :o) but lots of puertorican rum!).

One of Jose Eduardo's friends brought over a Nintendo Wii. I don't really like video games, but
this thing is totally different! You actually work up a sweat playing the games because you are moving your body with the remotes in your hands! It was so funny watching everyone play - especially Ana boxing (see video clip)!!! You wouldhave thought she was actually in a boxing ring! Cousin Jaimito and his wife Christina were also there. Even though the games got pretty rowdy, Sofia slept through most of it! Here are some pictures of bowling. Look at that FORM!!!

Marshall and McKinley also got one of these for Christmas...I can't wait to try "Boogie" One of you can dance, the other can karioke in the background (and it rates you on how well you hit the notes)
