My cousin Mariemma and her husband Luis and son Luis Angel came to stay with us. Luis Angel is 8 years old and was playing in a tennis tournament in Sandy Springs. He's a GREAT tennis player! He won his age group in Puerto Rico and came here to Atlanta for the Regionals. Unfortunately he lost both games :o( But it was SO WONDERFUL to have them stay with us for 4 days! I haven't gotten to really hang out with Mariemma since we were kids and we spent summers at my grandmother's house. We had such a good time - it was like we had never lost touch and were the best of friends!!!!!!
We went to the World of Coca-Cola on Friday. I hadn't been there since before the olympics were in Atlanta back in 1996. It's actually moved locations to Centennial Olympic Park. It's really nice. Here is a cute picture of Luis Angel, Sofia and I with the Coca-Cola bear.
On Saturday Luis Angel played his 2 tennis matches. Nathan, Sofia and I went to the first match, then brought Sofia back home to nap. Afterwards we all went to our neighborhood pool.
That night Mariemma and Luis took us all out for sushi. It was DELICIOUS! It was a new place we tried really close to our house and we'll definitely go back. YUM! YUM!
Then Sunday we hung out and relaxed and talked and laughed. Mariemma even taught Sofia "chocala," which is high five in spanish. Too cute!! What a great 4 days!!!! Can't wait for them to come back!
