Lovin' Twikini (Twitter App for my Windows Mobile)

I am addicted to Twitter these days!! Strange, I know since I originally hated "status updates" on Facebook. But now I like keeping up with my close family and friends - I know what they are up to and they know what I'm up to on a daily basis (and it's faster than blogging :o). It's pretty cool!!! The app that I've been using for my Windows Mobile phone is called Twikini. It's pretty cool - let's you do @Reply and direct posts to your followers, etc.! Sofia Takes Swim Lessons Again

Like last year, Sofia took Infant Swim (www.infantswim.com) lessons this year. Since she could walk this year, she actually could learn how to swim in the pool. Last year she just learned how to float.

She refreshed her float, learned to swim from one person to another, learned to swim to the stairs and learned to swim-float-swim. Also part of the test out is to be left floating in the pool without anyone touching her for at least 5 minutes! I HIGHLY recommend these lessons for you parents with little ones. It's a little scary at first when their head goes under water, but once they get used to it, it's amazing how much fun they have in the pool once there is no fear of it!!!

Here are 3 videos from some of her lessons on the days where I could get into the pool with her - so I would know what to do with her (not mess up what they teach her :o).

Carly stays with us for 1 week

After Kris and Craig's visit, Carly stayed with us for the next week. She was so great with Sofia! They played together and Carly taught Sofia all kinds of things - "and the chicken goes." I definitely wish she could have stayed longer. It was nice to have a built-in babysitter for the week :o)

Sofia learned about the ice cream truck this day!!! She'll never forget that music ever again - if she hears it anywhere we are out she looks at me and says "helado (ice cream)!"

Sofia's Make-Up Birthday Party

Since Sofia was sick the weekend of her birthday, we threw her make-up birthday party on July 4th.

Here is a video of everyone singing happy birthday to Sofia! After she blows out the candles she picks up a candle from the cake turns it over and licks the icing off of it!!! Too funny - we didn't teach her to do that! How did she know??? Oh well . . . the video is too large to upload, so you'll just have to be satisfied with my description of it :o(

Kris, Craig, Graham & Carly Visit

Kris, Craig, Graham and Carly came to stay with us over 4th of July weekend. It was sooooo much fun!! I SOOOOO miss them - wish they'd move to Atlanta :o) We just hung out and talked and went to the pool and drank some wine and talked some more.

Quick Visit from Aunt Leanne

Aunt Leanne came through Atlanta to spend some time with her nieces and nephews at her dad's house in south Georgia. She stopped by to say hello to the girls (and me :o).
