Neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt

Our neighborhood church (First Baptist Church Chattahoochee) hosted an Eggstravaganza Easter Celebration for all of the neighborhoods in the immediate area. It was such a BLAST!! Sofia had such a great time! There were live bunnies, a pony, a horse, the Easter Bunny, an Easter egg hunt, and even BUZZ was there!!!

Sofia loved all of the live animals, but was NOT very fond of the Easter bunny. Here is a funny video.

She loved riding the little pony so much that we decided she was ready for the big horse! She looks like a pro in that helmet. She didn't want to get off of the big horse (see video)!!!!!!

Here she is hunting for the Easter eggs.

And here we are afterwards looking at our loot inside of the plastic eggs.

And here we are with Buzz!!! Sofia didn't like him either. The only way we could take this picture was because Daddy put her on the OTHER side of Buzz. Buzz was at the Eggstravaganza because the Preacher of the church went to Georgia Tech. Nathan likes the church even more now.

Here she is with the live bunny! She was so loving to the little thing - she even gave it some kisses!!! I'm surprised that she was as gentle as she was.

Elaine's Easter Bunny Bread

Elaine came over this afternoon to help watch Sofia and give me a rest. She also brought over dinner and this cool Easter Bunny honey wheat bread! Isn't it CUTE?!?!?!?

Rubi & Dudley do the FOOD DANCE!

Here is a cute video of Rubi and Dudley doing the FOOD DANCE! They get so excited when it's time to eat - it's definitely the highlight of Rubi's day.

This video is cute too because Sofia now loves to take the food to the dogs - except she doesn't want them to eat it!

And as you can see Dudley has been getting into trouble AGAIN! This time he punctured to the side of his right eye. Don't ask us how, we just saw it when he came inside and it was bleeding! Poor buddy!! So for several days it would scab up and then he'd pick off the scab and it would bleed again. We finally got smart and took his old cone out of the attic and put that on him so that it could heal. Here is the video.

Nathan Stains our Deck

Daddy has REALLY been nesting!!! Just kidding - it's really me doing all of the nesting - Nathan just gets to do some of the jobs that are on my to-do list! The "honey-do" list has been getting extra love since I've been nesting :o)

Nathan stained the deck that he and Doug and Papi built last June for Sofia's birthday. He pressure washed it on Friday night and then stained it on Saturday afternoon after it dryed and before it rained again! He picked out the color and everything! I think it looks AWESOME!!!

Sofia at Musikgarten Class

Sofia's Musikgarten Class has been going great!! She really loves going. She knows most of the songs now because we have to listen to them in the car ALL OF THE TIME!!!! So she sings and plays and dances in and out of class. Here are a few videos of her from class.

HOLY MOLY!! I'm gonna bust :o)

Melissa's (Aunt Karen's soon-to-be Daughter-In-Law) Bridal Luncheon

Today Linda and I went to Melissa's Bridal Luncheon in Peachtree City. She is Aunt Karen's soon-to-be daughter-in-law. She is very, very sweet. I really like her - very down to earth! She is marrying John - Aunt Karen's oldest son. The wedding is April 25th - too close to our due date for us to make it - so she was nice enough to invite me to the Bridal Luncheon so that I could attend at least 1 part of their celebration!!!!

Here are Stephanie, Aunt Sara, and Linda.

And the pretty flowers at each of our seats (Mary Catherine -the host of the luncheon made these!!).

And another cute picture of Melissa and Aunt Karen!

And Mary Catherine pinning Melissa with a beautiful corsage.

And a video of everyone who was there!!
